A Unified Psychological and Anthropological Model of Religion
This is a work in progress attempt to unify psychological and anthropological theory of religion. It is a different approach than the one taken in Religious or Secular, however, it is my hope that over time I can join these two approaches into a more robust model of religion. I am leaving the draft available to the public for feedback. If any piece of this draft is used in other work, please cite it appropriately, and be aware that the draft is likely to change considerably as time goes on.« Continue »
Introduction
Good morning, I am the Alcoholic Anthropologist. You might have guessed that I have at least two loves in life: alcohol and anthropology. There are others, but most of them can be placed within either of those two categories. While this blog is new, I have been writing for quite some time. However, I did so on the same blog that contained my political discourse. I have decided it might be best to separate my less political and more scientific and philosophical posts and give them their own home.
And so The Alcoholic Anthropologist was born. In the beginning I will focus on porting existing content over and modifying the layout to make the site easier to use. As time goes on, I will add new content. I hope you enjoy your stay.
